Meaning and Benefits of Ramadan!
5 Pillars of Islam!
1. Shahadah – La ilaha illallah, Muhammadur rasool Allah
2. Salah – 5 times namaz in a day

4. Sawm – Fasting (Roza) during the month of Ramadan

Hajj - For those Muslims who are physically and financially able
to make the journey to Makkah, the Hajj is a once in a lifetime duty that is
the peak of their religious life.
Ramadan
A name chosen by Allah
(S.W.T) himself for the month of fasting. The rest of the names in the hijri
calendar are chosen by the Arabs. It’s the only name of the month which is mentioned
in the Holy Quran!
Meaning: To burn (jala
dena)

The sins that we
have done in the last 324 or 325 days of the year (Hijri Calendar) starts to
burn from the 1st day of Ramadan & as the 30 days of Ramadan is over, the
person becomes as pure as a new born.
Benefits:
·
Spiritual - 1:700
For
every deed of yours, you’ll get 700 times the benefit. So if you spend Re.1/-
as charity, you will receive 700 neki.
·
Tarawih: For every
sajda in tarawih, 1500 neki i.e. 60000 neki a day.
·
Lailatu Qadr – The
night (21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th,
& 29th) to seek forgiveness from Allah (S.W.T)
Four types of people shall
not be forgiven even in the night of Lailatu Qadr
1. Alcoholic
2. Disobedient to parents
3. Disrespectful to relatives
4. The one who hates someone & wants to harm that
person in any manner (Keena)
