--- THE SCHOOL RE-OPENS ---
One of the golden phase in almost everyone’s life – School days!
We all want to relive them, cherish those moments, sit on those benches & enjoy
the company of our buddies once again. The time that we spent with our friends,
the innocent mischief, that one excuse to move out of the class just to tease
our friends & many more is still fresh in our mind! But that won’t be the dream of every child,
especially those who attended the Peshawar Military School, Pakistan.
Jan 13, 2015, THE SCHOOL RE-OPENS.
“Time waits for none! The whole world moved on & so did
we. It won’t be fun to go to school anymore as things are not the same. The
benches that we used to share with our best friends will be shared with new
friends. We might move on but won't forget what we saw on Dec 16, 2014! Unconsciously,
a fear will always be there on the back of our mind, but we’ll overcome it. Earlier, our parents used to force us to study
so that we could make a better living. Now we want to study not because of our
parents but for ourselves. We saw the stupendous mutilation that illiteracy
& lack of education can cause. We want to educate ourselves so that as
grown-ups we can preach humanity & the true meaning of life to the one who
are straggled”!
Today, we can’t even imagine the situation of those families
who might be preparing their kid’s lunch box, ironing their clothes, getting them
ready to go to school & waving them at the school gate. They are trying to
bring their broken pieces of living back to life, but whenever the calendar
hits the date Dec 16, their memories will be refreshed!
"The wounds have healed but the scars will always be there!!!"
